Year 5
A Happy Easter to all of Year 5 Parents and children,
We hope you have enjoyed the Easter Holiday and are refreshed and ready for an exciting term ahead.
We are studying the Ancient Greeks in History so get your togas ready and start researching amazing Greek inventions that still help us today.
In Science, we will be learning all about the Earth and Space so grab your telescopes and start star gazing and Moon watching!
In English, we will be exploring Ancient Greek Myths and writing our own Mythical creatures and adventures (and acting them out too)!
In Design and Technology, we will be learning all about structures such as bridges and Greek temples too.
In Maths, we will be revising factors and prime numbers as well as cube numbers and area. We will then be learning about percentages and how to find them.
As always, the Year 5 team look forward to a wonderful term ahead which will include a visit to Longleat Wildlife Park on the 1st May! For more curriculum details, please read below.
Remember it’s P.E uniform on Monday and Wednesday as we will be doing some gymnastics and athletics. All good fun!
Please also remember your water bottles and healthy snacks for break times.
