Welcome
At Saint Patrick's we all 'Live, Love and Learn like Jesus'
Welcome to Saint Patrick’s Catholic Primary School and thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
We are a Catholic primary school situated in the beautiful market town of Corsham, Wiltshire. We understand the importance of education in the primary years and most importantly the fun of learning in a safe environment.
Through engaging lessons, and many ‘awe and wonder’ moments, our aim is for all of our children to reach their full potential. This being academically, but also in developing their kindness to others, confidence, independence and resilience…in short becoming the best citizens they can be.
We believe that each of us is unique and we all have our talents and gifts to share. This is reflected by our skilled staff, who model our high expectations in learning and behaviour, to show our children how important this is to ensure they have the strongest foundations in their education.
We work in partnership with our parents, local community and Diocese, to see our children leave us as passionate, lifelong learners ready to make a difference.
Thank you again for visiting our website and if you would like to visit us in person, and see us in action, please contact our School Office Team on 01249 713125 or admin@st-patricks.wilts.sch.uk

Governor Recruitment
St Patrick’s School has been supporting parents in raising their children in the Catholic faith, since 1964. The school serves the parishes St Patrick’s and St Anthony of Padua, Melksham and is an integral part of our Catholic mission. The school’s governing body has vacancies for Foundation Governors. This provides the opportunity for new people to come forward and join the school’s governing body, to help lead the school for future generations of Catholic, and other, children.
“To be a governor of a Catholic School is to be involved in the mission of the Church because our Catholic schools are a very important part of our work for young people in the Church.” (Cardinal Basil Hulme)”
If you would like to be part of the school’s journey and help to shape the lives of our present and future children and so be involved in the mission of the Church, then now is the time to step forward and apply to be a Foundation Governor. Please complete a nomination form https://schools.cliftondiocese.com/form-2 as soon as possible. If you have any queries or would like more details, please contact Bill McEntee, Governance Officer at Clifton Diocese via bill.mcentee@cliftondiocese.com or on 07710094976 – he would be delighted to hear from you!
Please find below the Open Day power point documents for new starters in September 2024. There is also useful information about starting school and ensuring you and your child are ready!
